Spineway completes acquisition of Distimp

The Spineway Group has announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Distimp. This marks the completion of the acquisition. In addition, Spineway has just begun the initiatives that will enable it to implement its growth strategy.

Objective pursued by Spineway through this acquisition

The Spineway Group has successfully completed the first stage of its external growth. The company has reached an agreement with Distimp allowing it todefinitively acquirethe French player in the sector of implants for spinal surgery. This acquisition will allow Spineway to hold 100% of Distimp's capital.

This acquisition is part of the group's objective to start implementing its growth strategy. Thanks to this acquisition, Spineway will be able to start expanding its product and service offering. This will be achieved by offering a wider range of implants and instruments.

These are intended for the treatment of severe spinal diseases. Also, Spineway plans to offer new high-value surgical techniques to surgeons. The acquisition will be financed entirely in cash.

In addition, following the transaction, Mr. Fabrice Paccagnella,President of Distimp, is expected to join the Spineway team. He will join the group as supervisor of the development and sales of the implant ranges of this new subsidiary.

In addition, Distimp, for its part, expresses its satisfaction with its merger with Spineway.
