What is the amount of the dividend paid by Sanofi?

In 2021, the Sanofi group paid a dividend of €3.20 per share to its shareholders. This dividend corresponds to the dividend on the results of the financial year 2020.

The 2022 dividend was also recently approved by Sanofi and will be €3.33 per share. This will be paid in May.

 

When does Sanofi pay its dividend?

Sanofi's dividend is paid on an annual basis, once a year. The payment is made after the publication of the group's financial results for the previous year and the amount is voted by the general meeting of shareholders.

This meeting usually takes place at the beginning of May and the detachment and payment date are also part of this month.

For the 2021 dividend, the ex-dividend date was 05 May 2021 and the payment date was 07 May 2021.

The next dividend payment will be on 10 May 2022 for the financial year 2021.

 

What is the next expected dividend for Sanofi shares?

The next dividend to be paid by Sanofi to its shareholders is the dividend for the financial year 2021. This has just been confirmed by the general meeting of shareholders which took place on 3 May.

The amount of this dividend is €3.33 per share, which represents 4.1% more than in 2021.

Indeed, the pharmaceutical company published its results in February 2022 with an increase in turnover of more than 7.1% during this financial year, which prompted the Board of Directors to propose an increased dividend.
