For Marriott, this agreement enabled it to resolve certain supply and distribution problems as the optimised distribution and supply model provided by Expedia Partner Solutions, the B2B branch of the Expedia Group, eliminated the complexity and inefficacy of the current wholesale supply model of the Marriott hotels. 

Sunwing

More recently, in 2021 to be precise the Marriott Group announced it had doubled its portfolio of ‘all inclusive’ type establishments through its association with the Sunwing Group. Therefore between the time of its association through to mid-2021, 19 franchised establishments which represent 7,000 rooms in 6 destinations will come under Marriott’s Autograph Collection brand. Between now and 2025, the objective is to raise this to 33 establishments.
