The AT&T Inc. group is an American company that operates in the telecommunications sector. More specifically, the company is currently one of the leaders in this sector in the United States.
To better understand the group's activities, they can be divided into several divisions according to the percentage of turnover they generate as so:
- Mobile telephony services currently still represent the largest share of the group's activities and revenues.
- Fixed-line telephony and cable services come second, along with local telephony and long-distance telephony.
- The group also offers Internet access, messaging and satellite television services.
Regarding the distribution of the group's income, we know that 90.2% of turnover comes from the sale of services and only 9.8% from the sale of equipment goods.
The geographical distribution of the activities of the AT&T group and its turnover is also an interesting point to know. We know that the group now generates 89.6% of its turnover in the United States, 1.8% in Mexico, 1.5% in Brazil, 1.8% in Latin America, 3.4% in Europe, 1.5% in Asia Pacific and 0.4% in the rest of the world.
